City Council

City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, One Twin Pines Lane in Belmont.

Finance Commission

The Finance Commission participates in the budget review process at the request of the City Council, and performs special projects for long and short term financial consequences. The Finance Commission meets bi-monthly on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

Parks and Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on matters pertaining to Belmont’s Park and Recreation programs and facilities. It meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Youth Appointments

The Parks and Recreation Commission has two seats for youth commissioners. The City Council will consider applications from Belmont residents who are between the ages of 13 and
17 years old. Parent/Guardian consent is mandatory.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission reviews and takes action on planning applications and makes recommendations to the City Council on land use issues. It meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m.
